Directions
  1. The socoromo or milpezo is the fruit of the palm tree of the same name.
  2. It is peeled and placed in warm water for 1 hour.
  3. It is removed and crushed with a hand stone.
  4. A little sugar is sprinkled on it.
  5. It is also prepared as a juice: it is peeled and strained, and mixed with water or milk and sugar.
  6. It is served cold.
  7. Likewise, an excellent chicha can be prepared with it.
