Directions
- Peel the chayotes, slice them, and remove the heart. Put them in a pot with the 3 cups of water and the other ingredients except the lime. Cook until they soften.
- Drain them, let them cool, and place them in a bowl with the lime juice for 20 minutes. Drain after this time and process them.
- Beat the butter until creamy, then add the sugar, eggs, flour sifted with the spices, carrot, vanilla, condensed milk, and chayote.
- Grease a pan and pour in the mixture.
- Preheat the oven.
- Bake for 20 to 30 minutes.
