Directions
- First, cook the meat with enough water, then add the celery, oregano, garlic, parsley, and salt.
- Then strain the masa with a head of garlic and salt.
- Cook the masa with a little bit of broth from the cooked meat.
- Season the meat with onion and achiote.
- Then place the roasted and cleaned leaves and roll and press well onto the leaves and add the meat, carrot, and cilantro.
- Afterwards, wrap them, tie them, and cook over high heat for half an hour in a pot with boiling water.
- Makes 75 tamales.
