gr fríjoles vegueros (local beans), soaked overnight

cup(s) guiso (stew sauce) [see p. 128]
pinch salt to taste
Directions
- Cook the fríjoles vegueros in enough water until softened (approximately 1 hour); discard the water and mix with the rice, guiso and salt.
- Cook in 4 cups of water until dry.
- Eat with topocho plantain, ripe roasted plantain and ají.
