4 piece(s) scallion stalks, chopped
1 piece(s) green bell pepper, finely chopped
2 clove(s) garlic, crushed
1 tbsp onoto (achiote)
2 piece(s) wild cilantro leaves, chopped
2 tbsp lard (or oil)
pinch cumin, pepper and salt to taste

  1. Grind everything with a stone and sauté for about 15 minutes in the lard or oil, stirring, until achieving a smooth sauce.
