- Cook the unpeeled fruits in water for 30 minutes, let cool and remove the seed, pound, grind and strain through a fine sieve.
- Add the syrup and water and mix well.
- Serve cold as a refreshment or let ferment for 3 days in a clay pot.
- Note: the oil that results from cooking the seje is extracted with a spoon.
- It has an extraordinary flavor.
