Directions
- Beat the whites to snow point, with ½ cup sugar, add the 5 yolks beaten with ½ cup sugar, continue beating and add the flour mixed with baking powder.
- Stir everything well, perfume with vanilla and pour on a greased rectangular pan, forming a very thin layer.
- Bake in preheated oven at 350°, for 20 minutes.
- When baked, unmold onto a floured napkin, cover with jam, roll quickly and wrap tightly with the napkin; when cold, unwrap the napkin, cut the ends and sprinkle with sugar.
- If it's the first time making it, it's convenient to put a sheet of greased paper on the bottom of the pan to be able to unmold it easily.
- The paper comes off when rolling it this time on a damp napkin.
