Rompope (Costa Rican Eggnog - Variation)

Ingredients
½ cup(s) sugar
1 box(s) milk
4 eggs
4 cornstarch
3 cinnamon
1 pinch of cloves
liquor to taste
Directions
  1. In a pot put the milk with sugar, cinnamon and cloves.
  2. Beat the yolks with cornstarch and half a cup of milk; then beat the whites separately until stiff peaks.
  3. When the milk is hot add yolks and whites, beat for 6 minutes with a whisk.
  4. Strain and let cool and add the liquor.
