Tamal Asado en Cocina de Leña (Wood Stove Baked Corn Cake)

Ingredients
1 package(s) masa (corn dough)
1 and a half of leche agria (sour milk)
1 cup(s) and a half of sugar
2 butter
1/4 finely grated cheese
1 one and a half finely grated coconuts
Directions
  1. Mix all the ingredients very well.
  2. In a very dry iron pot, add one kilo of cold ash without charcoal, cover with enough plantain or banana leaves (about 3 layers), so that they extend out of the pot to cover the mixture once added.
  3. Add the mixture.
  4. Cover very well with the leaves and place half a kilo of ash on top.
  5. Cover the pot with a flat tin and place small pieces of firewood on top.
  6. Cook over moderate heat for three hours.
