Directions
- In heavy-bottomed pot, boil water with cinnamon, cloves, and hibiscus (wrapped in small mesh bag).
- Add rice, cover, add margarine, achiote, milk, and sugar.
- Stir so it doesn't stick.
- Add condensed milk and keep stirring.
- Mix Vitamaíz with little milk or water and add to rice. Stir quickly to prevent lumps.
- Finally, add grated cheese and remove from heat (remove mesh bag with spices).
- Pour into greased mold.
- Let cool slightly and brush surface with mixture of ground cookie and egg. Put in oven until golden. Let cool.
