750 gr beef chuck, chopped into pieces
250 gr beef bones
250 gr cheese, cut into 8 pieces
2 piece(s) green plantains, peeled and broken by hand
500 gr yuca (cassava), peeled and chopped
500 gr potatoes, peeled and chopped
2 piece(s) ripe tomatoes, peeled and chopped
1 piece(s) white onion, peeled and chopped
2 piece(s) green onion stalks, chopped
8 clove(s) garlic, ground
6 piece(s) wild cilantro
1/2 tsp ground cumin
1/2 tsp pepper
pinch salt and achiote to taste
Directions
  1. Clean the fish very well.
  2. In the boiling water cook the plantains and yuca for 25 minutes.
  3. Add the refrito, fish, salt and pepper, and cook for 20 more minutes.
  4. Serve with white rice.
