Directions
- Add to the flour the salt, sugar, baking powder, eggs and mix everything with the mixer.
- Add half of the melted butter.
- In a pan, cook the sliced bananas with half the butter, then add a shot of rum and flambé (light it on fire).
- Set aside and add to the mixture along with the other shot of rum, also the orange syrup and add the desired amount.
- For the syrup: Cook over low heat until you get a syrup consistency.
- Set the oven to 350°C.
- Grease the mold, flour it and pour in the preparation.
- Cook 10 minutes, then sprinkle powdered sugar on top of the cake.
- Cook for 10 more minutes.
- To test if it's cooked, insert a knife and if it comes out clean, your cake is ready.
