Ingredients
dried corn
cow's milk (freshly milked)
sugar to taste
cinnamon
Directions
  1. Cook the corn until semi-hard. Grind the corn. Strain it through a cloth strainer into a pot.
  2. Let rest for approximately 15 hours.
  3. Remove the water, leaving the corn starch that settles at the bottom, placing the starch in an iron or clay pot.
  4. Add milk, sugar, and cinnamon to the starch.
  5. Cook over low heat for three hours until it thickens.
  6. When thickened, pour it into a tray covered with banana leaves.
  7. Wait three more hours for it to harden so it can be cut.
