Directions
- Make a caramel with the sugar and place it in the baking dish.
- Spread the bread slices on both sides with butter, first cutting off the crusts, and place a layer of bread covering the caramel, then a layer of figs and so on, finishing with a layer of bread.
- Beat the milk, vanilla, dulce de leche, eggs, and cinnamon and pour over the bread and bake at 117°C for one hour.
- Decorate with meringue.
