Directions
- Peel the mameys, making sure to remove the membrane that covers the pulp so they don't become bitter.
- Cut the pulp into thin slices that are put in boiling water for a while, discard the water and repeat the operation 3 times.
- Prepare a syrup with sugar and water and add the mamey slices, which are left to soak to taste.
- Add the lemon juice and serve in a candy dish.
