Ingredients
4 flour
1 cup(s) brown sugar
1 grated coconut
1 cup(s) coconut milk
1 yeast
1/2 cup(s) butter
1 egg
1 vanilla
nutmeg, cinnamon to taste
1/2 cup(s) candied fruits
Directions
  1. Dissolve the yeast in warm coconut milk.
  2. Mix flour, sugar, spices and grated coconut.
  3. Add melted butter, egg, vanilla and the yeast mixture.
  4. Knead well, add the candied fruits.
  5. Let rest until it doubles in volume.
  6. Form the breads and let rest 30 more minutes.
  7. Bake at 180°C for 35-40 minutes.
