Ingredients
1 kg tender beans or cubaces
1 kg pork roast
3 piece(s) green plantains or more
2 bunch thyme
1 bunch bay leaf
1 piece(s) finely chopped onion
6 clove(s) crushed garlic
1 piece(s) chopped sweet pepper
1 bunch culantro coyote
1 piece(s) Creole rib bouillon packet
1 tbsp complete seasoning
2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1 cup(s) water
pinch oregano to taste
achiote if desired
Directions
  1. In heavy-bottomed pot, cook beans. When tender, add plantains cut in pieces along with meat cut in pieces. Add salt and aromatics. Cook preferably at moderate heat until everything is cooked. Add bouillon dissolved in a little water and Worcestershire sauce. Adjust flavors, remove from heat, and serve.
