1 piece(s) panela (unrefined cane sugar), broken into pieces

Directions
  1. Peel the squash and cut into pieces.
  2. Cover with water and cook for 15 minutes.
  3. Remove and drain a little to recover its firmness.
  4. Return to water, add the panela and lemon drops and let soak over low heat.
